“Homelessness could have affected our former classmates and peers, without our knowing, and it could even still be impacting them today. Learning more about homelessness helps to frame the disparities between our own lived experiences and those who are less fortunate. It was great being part of such a cohesive team. At the end of the day, you could take pride in knowing that your contributions were going to have an impact.”
